The resort of Grimentz is in the Val d'Anniviers in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. A year round destination, it's picturesque village centre is a popular destination for sightseers and hikers in summer, and the ski area is open between December and April for winter sports.

In summer the village is adorned with Geraniums.In fact, so many different varieties that the Tourist Office organise tours of the village to view them. All through the summer season there are different themed festivals and markets every week.
In winter the resort is clad in a white overcoat. Skiers from Switzerland and beyond make their way up the Anniviers Valley to stay in Grimentz, to view the beauty of the surrounding peaks and ski the 220km of skiing available on the single Anniviers ski pass, which gives access to 5 resorts.
